| Hey. This weekend was really cool. Friday after school i went to the movies with danni and magz, and we saw stick it. the movie was really cool and lol..i got to see maggie slide down the banister.
when i got home, i changed pants and ran out the door so i could go to church. after a lil bit of walking around, everyone got on the busses and we left for our 2 hour trip to blue mountian. When we got there we unpacked and played killer and went over the rules. Then, we had camp fire and went sleepy sleep. In the morning we got up at like 6 (even though brexfast didnt start till like 8..but its ok cuz i walked like two miles..so i got some exersise in). Then, we ate and had family times and free time (where i hung out w\ robert) and then we went to do service projects. Our project was to pick up Cedar Trees that had been cut down and put them in a pile so we could burn them (cuz the national park is a cedar hater)!! Then, more family time and lunch and a shower (cuz i was covered in poison ivy) and then dinner and natural disasters. (natural disasters is a game where you wear football flags, and you have to go all over the camp to find teachers to mark your sheet. But..on the way other teachers are trying to pull your flags and take your life (you have three lives). So that was fun exept for the fact that i had to walk all the way up to star fire..and i accidentaly took the long way!!)
Saturday night was AMMAZING! After games and free times we went to whitener (my cabin) and everyone had the chance to go up and say something about when they heard god's voice calling...or just what ever they wanted to say. After that, we had to walk through whitner. Everything was dark, but there were stations you had to go to where teachers were holding candles, and would say something. (Every teacher had a station, and some told me they were proud of me, and some just told me that god was always in my heart.) After that I went to my room, and everyone was crying. I kind of felt bad that I wasnt crying..so i went out on the porch where every one else was and gave all the crying people hugs. Then, the teachers came and sang to us, and that was really sweet and it made everyone cry more. And then i felt worse for not crying. So i went back to my room, and just sat down. But, i wanted to know where everyone else was, and it turns out they were in the front room, crying.
So i gave Nicole W. a hug (everyone was giving hugs) and i dont know why but i started bawling.when i sat down and couldnt stop crying, cause everyone was talking about getting babtised and it was just bittersweet. Then we had to go to bed, and the teachers let us sit and cry for a while , until we finally fell asleep. Then sun we just ate, cleaned, and left. I cant even beleive that next saturday I'm getting confirmed.
So this weekend was really cool, and now I'm really excited for spirit camp!
